Colorado National Monument is one of western Colorado's hidden gems. The park's breathtaking red rock canyons will leave you in awe. Photographer Johnathan Valdez quickly fell in love with the area. "We spent all day in the park, but the best was waiting for the sun to set. As the warm colors of dusk set in, the canyons and rocks seemed to glow. This will always be a sunset for the record books in my mind."
