2021 ൽ രാജ്യത്ത് 'സാധാരണ' (Normal) മൺസൂൺ. കേരളത്തിൽ സാധാരണയിൽ കൂടുതൽ മഴ (Above Normal) ലഭിക്കാൻ സാധ്യത* *2021 തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ കാലവർഷം (ഇടവപ്പാതി) സാധാരണ മഴ ആയിരിക്കും രാജ്യത്ത് നൽകുക എന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് അറിയിച്ചു. അതേസമയം കേരളത്തിൽ ഇത്തവണ കാലവർഷം സാധാരണയിൽ കൂടുതലാവാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നാണ് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പിൻറെ ആദ്യ ഘട്ട മൺസൂൺ പ്രവചനത്തിൽ (First Stage Long Range Forecast) വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നത്.* *കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പിൻറെ (IMD) വിവിധ കാലാവസ്ഥ മോഡലുകളുടെ പ്രവചനങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ തയ്യാറാക്കിയ ആദ്യഘട്ട ദീർഘകാല പ്രവചനം (Long Range Forecast) സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ജൂൺ മുതൽ സെപ്റ്റംബർ വരെയുള്ള ശരാശരി മഴ ദീർഘകാല ശരാശരിയുടെ 98 % ആയിരിക്കുമെന്നാണ്.(ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ദീർഘകാല ശരാശരി മൺസൂൺ മഴ 88 സെ.മീ ആണ്). ഇത്തവണ കാലവർഷം സാധാരണയിലാകാൻ 40% സാധ്യതയും സാധാരണയിൽ കൂടുതൽ മഴ ലഭിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യത 16 ശതമാനവും സാധാരണയിൽ കുറഞ്ഞുള്ള മഴ ലഭിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യത 25 ശതമാനവുമാണെന്നാണ് പ്രവചനത്തിൽ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.* കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് സ്റാറ്റിസ്റിറ്ക്കൽ മോഡൽ കൂടാതെ ഡൈനാമിക്കൽ മോഡൽ കൂടി ഉപയോഗിച...
